👋 I'm a data engineer from Long Island, New York. I've always been drawn to technology and its impact on humanity, and that curiosity has taken me from SpaceX to Point72 to Palantir.

I believe AI will be the most consequential technology our species has ever created. Historically, we don't fully grasp the impact of transformative technologies until they're already embedded in everything and too late to reshape. With AI, we're still in the window where direction is being set.

The upside is real. But the risks are just as significant: who controls the data these systems learn from, how they're secured, what happens when they fail at scale, and whether anyone affected by them has visibility into how they actually work.

I think the engineers closest to this technology have a responsibility that goes beyond shipping features. It's about making sure what we're building holds up when the stakes are no longer theoretical.
